Creating a Wildlife Garden
We will create a wildlife garden on local community space.
- While public space may be currently bland and void of plants, and improving stony, thin, compacted soil requires some time and effort, many wildflowers actually prefer poorer soils
- Properly planned wildlife planting can give much pleasure to local residents as well as supporting the wildlife of your local area
- Advice on starting a wildlife garden from scratch is available from The Wildlife Trusts
- Further advice for private gardens has been published by The Small Gardener
