Online advice is all very well, but many of us prefer to hear it from a warm human being!
Experts in different topics may be found in surprising places, but a first port of call can be our local climate networks, and you can find a developing contact list by county here.
Some counties are already developing local advisers:
- Essex
- Warwickshire
A number of national organisations provide regular training events:
- British Standards Institute
- Carbon Literacy Project
- National Association of Local Councils (NALC)
- NALC Climate Emergency Network (CEN)
- Society of Local Council Clerks (SLCC)
SLCC members can also contact the Environmental and Sustainability Advisor on andrew.maliphant@slcc.co.uk .
